The first and the most glaring feature of Everest Poker, unfortunately, is a bad one. This is a poker room that offers only Texas Hold 'Em, making it the lowest-scoring poker site in our database when it comes to the "Amount and variety of games" section. As if only one kind of game weren't bad enough, Everest is also a new room, so there's not a lot of players here. And the betting limits don't help matters. But just when you think you've read enough about Everest, there's some salvation around the corner.

Everest is a recommended site-for beginners. The room seems to cater to those who are just starting off in the world of online poker. In that context, we kind of like it. There is good, knowledgeable customer support, the site is easy, and there's even tuturials on how to play poker and use Everest's software for those of you who might need it. You can tell it's a beginner's site because the upper limits are $5-10, and even these are not well-populated. Generally, most of the action is on the very low-stakes tables. The stakes, by the way, get as low as $0.01-0.02 tables.

Everest is an international poker room, with eight languages of operation. That's rare. Also rare is a mere $5 initial deposit, and there's even bonuses too. The biggest bonus is $1 free for every $100 wagered, with a maximum of $100 dollars "for free." Keep in mind, though, that at these tiny limits, you're not likely to see 100 bonus dollars in this lifetime.

You might be surprised we gave this room a "7" with such a poor selection of games on hand. But we realize that there are beginners among you, and for beginners, Everest is a nice place to get the feel of online poker.
