NOTE: SPECIAL LIMITS ON GIVEN DAYS. CHECK SITE.

The first thing you'll notice about 24 Hour Poker is that this is a European site, and all transactions are done in Euros. If you're used to playing with US dollars, be sure you know what your currency exchange rate is before you sign up here. That said, the limits are pretty much comparable to other sites; actually, almost everything is the same as a site run by Americans. You'll also notice when you check out this room that 24 Hour Poker offers a game called Soko, which is just a version of 5-Card Stud-a little lingo lesson for you. Texas Hold 'Em still remains the most popular game here, as it is on most sites.

The competition at 24 Hour Poker is better than average, and that has a lot to do with the "special days" this site promotes. On Mondays, for example, there is a very popular game of Pot-Limit Omaha in which the blinds are raised from the standard Eur 5-10 limit to Eur 15-20. As a result, the sharks are out in droves. It's possible to do well at 24 Hour Poker, but we recommend staying away from the special-day games and sticking to the more run-of-the-mill stuff, unless of course you're a shark yourself.

No problems with payment methods and cashouts here, unless you consider the European currency a problem-cashouts are made in Euros as well. The design of the site, meanwhile, is quite attractive, and the software doesn't lag as a result. Everything is fast, smooth and problem-free. Customer service is adequate, albeit only available via e-mail. Promotions are generally limited to the special-day games mentioned above, which is kind of disappointing.

Overall, 24 Hour Poker is a European-dominated, slightly tough poker room that might be better suited for those with experience. But it's definitely a quality site that deserves its high all-around mark.
