When you combine a new poker room with a game selection consisting of only Texas Hold 'Em, Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo, it immediately means that there's a lot of poker rooms out there that are a lot more attractive. But just because CD Poker is new, and still suffers from a lean selection of games, doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out.

For one, the design is cool. CD Poker offers both 2D and 3D views, with different angles to boot. And unlike a lot of rooms with cool graphics, CD Poker doesn't seem to suffer from slower software as a result. This makes for a very enjoyable playing experience. Even better, the players that do know about CD Poker tend not to be very good, meaning you can find soft competition at this site and take advantage of it. The only thing negative we experienced in general playability is that the servers here are sometimes unreliable, so beware.

Back to that question of CD Poker being a newer site. In case you didn't guess, there aren't a lot of players here, and that's one big disadvantage of a lot of good, young online poker sites. You can't compare this with Empire or Party Poker. But CD Poker is trying to carve out a niche for itself, and the promotions and bonuses reflect this notion. There is a 25% sign-up bonus with a maximum of $100, regular freerolls for new players, and a slightly hidden "additional" sign-up bonus of $5 for deposits between $20 and $50, and $10 for deposits between $51-100. Look around and utilize everything CD Poker has to offer.

Cashouts are one more disadvantage we feel obliged to discuss. We experienced waits of up to four days, which is too long. Although this isn't always the case, you shouldn't generally have to wait for more than three days to get paid in a decent online poker room. The rumor is that CD Poker is trying to improve this process, so you can test it for yourself.
