If you're from the United States, you can stop reading. Victor Chandler is a UK-based betting company and doesn't accept players from the USA. That led us to knock some points off the "popularity" and "overall" categories, simply because a lot of people are not eligible for this site. Those who are eligible, however, will find that Victor Chandler is a respectable site with beatable competition and all of the essential features you'd expect from a renowned British bookie. There are a fair number of players at this poker room (despite the missing Americans) and most of the tables are pretty well-populated, although you'll find more action on the low-limit and middle-limit Hold 'Em tables than on the high-limit tables.
Game selection, unfortunately, is not one of Victor Chandler's strong suits. The only games on offer are Hold 'Em, Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo, which reminds the user that Victor Chandler's primary operations are outside the arena of online poker. Poker is just a secondary service the company provides. That said, they do a pretty decent job at it.
The software and graphics at Victor Chandler are unique in that they are geared toward simplicity. Some people like the idea, some people don't. We like it. The cards and chips appear larger on Victor Chandler than on other sites, but the format is intelligently done, and will help the beginner. Victor Chandler also allows multiple simultaneous games, and the software is strong enough to handle it at relatively fast speeds. Cashouts are reliable but not supersonic. You'll wait a few days.
