Absolute Poker is one of the many online poker rooms that would hover near the middle of the pack, were it not for several things on the site that really frustrate us. One of these is a generally offputting design, which in this case includes everything from slow software to uninspired graphics and, worst of all, a lobby that's confusing. Since we believe in simplicity, Absolute Poker doesn't do it for us with its strangely confusing design.

Whereas other poker rooms have one or two main disadvantages, we feel compelled to say that Absolute Poker has only one or two main advantages. Everything else is either average or below average. Since the site is a small one, with a low number of players, you would at the very least expect strong customer support. But with only e-mail support available-and slow e-mail support at that-that's not the case. The customer doesn't seem to be #1 at Absolute Poker.

But the news isn't all bad news. While some of the biggest sites on the Internet offer only average cashout speeds, we were surprised to find that Absolute Poker is very quick. You'll get your money in two days or less. Also, there's a good selection of games, even if the total number of players is nothing to write home about. We also like the fact that you can play 1-on-1 in a private setting on Absolute Poker, which is ideal if you'd like to meet your friends online and take them on head-to-head. Additionally, the promotions are Absolute Poker are not bad, although these seem to change regularly.
