InterPoker has a bad reputation. That's primarily because this is one site that takes a bigger share of the pie than other sites, in the form of high rakes. Where other sites normally would take $1 out of a pot, count on InterPoker to take up to $3 out of the pot. There's no reason to pay the extra money when you can just take your business elsewhere. Add to this a generally unappealing design, with slow, susceptible software, and you're looking at a site that could do much, much better. The game selection, furthermore, is nothing special, and basically the only thing that can be considered a real "redeeming quality" is that there's a wide range of betting limits, going all the way up to blinds of $100-200. These high-limit tables are popular, too-maybe because if you're betting with such high limits, a 200% increase in rake doesn't bother you as much as it bothers us. . .

The graphics at InterPoker were recently improved, but don't take that to mean they're anything special. We find them below average, and they earn a "4" in our book, along with all other factors of appearance on the site.

Promotions, it must be said, are quite strong at InterPoker. That's probably because InterPoker is trying to eliminate its bad name. There's a $100 match for deposits of $100 as well as some other smaller offers. Beware, though, because with a lot of the additional bonuses, you're forced to play a minimum of raked hands before you can cash out. Translation: you'll probably lose those special offers before you ever see a dime of them.

Cashouts are fast at InterPoker (generally two days), but we've given the site low marks in this category. That's because there's a long sign-up process involving a pin number for registration, and this can take a week or more. Considering none of the better poker rooms on the Internet require this kind of process, we don't see why InterPoker should either. A definite negative. Customer service, meanwhile, didn't strike us as particularly good or bad. An average feature of a below-average poker room.
