The Gaming Club offers an extremely wide range of table limits on all of the same games offered by the Internet's biggest poker rooms, but with a much smaller base of players. Compared to the 20,000 or more players at Empire Poker, The Gaming Club is a baby-only 5,000 players are registered here. Less competition, of course, is a drawback in poker, and The Gaming Club's overall rating suffers as a consequence.

The graphics at The Gaming Club are to our liking: very stylish, very professional. Unfortunately the software is not as stylish. It's not uncommon to wait a long time when you want to join a table, and then find out that the table is not nearly as empty as you thought by the time you do get in. Slow software is a major criterion.

In all other categories, however, The Gaming Club can hold its own. While there aren't many players, the word is that the level of competition is quite poor, so you can do very well here. As mentioned above, The Gaming Club offers most major games (but unfortunately not all), and technical support is available by phone and e-mail, with good results. Promotions and bonuses are strong, especially when you compare the low $20 minimum deposit with the $300 of bonus money you're immediately eligible for. There are also weekly freerolls for all newly signed-up players.

High and no-limit players will be attracted to The Gaming Club, as $100-200 tables can be found here. Low-limit players, however, are also catered for. No need to worry. Payment, meanwhile, is reliable but not fantastic. It generally takes about two days.
